🌳 Zone 1: Emerald Grove

The starting zone offers basic ores for early progression.

  • Coal: Abundant in shallow caves, Y-level 0-50
  • Copper: Common in hillside caves, Y-level 10-60
  • Iron: Found deeper, Y-level -10 to 30
  • Gold: Rare, Y-level -20 to 10

🏜️ Zone 2: Howling Sands

Thorium Ore - Mid-Game Essential

Appearance: Dark green crystals embedded in sandstone

Location: Desert canyon walls and underground caves, Y-level -10 to 40

Tips: Look for green glowing spots on cliff faces at night. Thorium veins are larger than copper or iron.

Uses: Craft Thorium Armor (heat resistance), Thorium Pickaxe (required for Cobalt), and advanced weapons.

  • Copper & Iron: Still available but less common
  • Adamantite: Very rare in deepest desert caves near lava

❄️ Zone 3: Borea (Whisperfrost Frontiers)

Cobalt Ore - Advanced Tier

Appearance: Deep blue metallic ore with ice crystals

Location: Frozen mountain caves and tundra depths, Y-level -30 to 20

Tips: Cobalt often spawns near ice and can be spotted on surface-level mountainsides. Bring warm clothing or frost resistance potions.

Uses: Cobalt Armor (+10% Magic Damage), Cobalt Pickaxe (for Mithril), magic-infused weapons.

Adamantite Ore

Appearance: Crimson red, glowing near lava

Location: Volcanic regions, near lava pools, Y-level -40 to 0

Uses: Fire-resistant gear, high-damage weapons

Mithril Ore

Appearance: Bright cyan, emits soft light

Location: Deepest caves in both volcanic and tundra areas, Y-level -60 to -20

Uses: Legendary endgame equipment, best-in-slot gear
